Summary
As a Resident Assistant at Lynnfield Place Assisted Living, you will play a vital role in supporting our residents with their daily activities and ensuring their comfort and well-being. This position is essential in fostering a nurturing atmosphere that aligns with our commitment to quality care.
Responsibilities
- Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Prepare nutritious meals and assist with dining needs.
- Provide companionshipl support to residents.
- Help maintain a clean and safe living environment through housekeeping tasks.
- Support residents in engaging in social activities and community events.
- Ensure resident rights are respected and upheld at all times.
- Collaborate with nursing staff to address any health or safety concerns.
Qualifications
- Compassionate nature with a genuine desire to help others, particularly the elderly.
- Experience in meal preparation or cooking is preferred but not required.
- Knowledge of resident rights and home community care practices is beneficial.
- Ability to work effectively with individuals with disabilities or special needs.
- Strong communication skills for interacting with residents, families, and staff members.
- Basic understanding of vital signs monitoring is a plus but not mandatory.
- Previous experience in assisted living or nursing home settings is advantageous.

Expected hours: 32 per week
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Evening shift
- Monday to Friday
- Rotating weekends
