What are the responsibilities and job description for the Farmer's Market Representative/Salesperson position at Lynnhaven, LLC?
We are currently seeking a friendly out-going individual to sell goat cheese and goat meat at the Warwick Farmers Markets on Sundays in Warwick, NY.
The successful candidate is outgoing, friendly, honest and be able to answer questions and present yourself and our farm in a favorable way. Must be articulate, able to lift 60lb coolers. MUST be proficient in math and able to make change accurately! A cell phone is required to be able to accept credit cards. Clean, valid driver's license a must.
Cheese must be picked up in Pine Bush, NY and driven to market in our vehicle. The market is from 9AM to 2pm, leaving Pine Bush at approximately 7:20am returning by 3:30 pm. Pay is $100 per day, plus commission if base sales threshold met.
The cheese must be picked up in Pine Bush, so proximity to Pine Bush is important. Warwick begins April 27th and ends at Thanksgiving, with one December market at Christmas.
