Job Overview:
We’re looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Chicken Coop Framer to assist in the construction and assembly of our signature coops. This role is ideal for someone with home framing, general building, or moderate carpentry experience, who is comfortable using hand and power tools. You’ll be responsible for framing walls, squaring structures, erecting coops, installing roofing, and attaching all final parts and assemblies to ensure each coop meets our high-quality standards. We strive to provide a stable, positive work environment for all our employees. This position is Full-Time, Permanent, with room for promotion and upgraded pay with experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Frame walls, square structures, erect coops, install roofing, and attach all final parts and assemblies
- Measure, cut, and assemble wood components according to build plans
- Use power tools and hand tools safely and efficiently
- Maintain a clean and organized workshop space, ensuring tools and materials are properly stored
- Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies as needed
- Work as part of a team to meet production goals
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a safe working environment
Qualifications:
- Experience in home framing, general building, or carpentry
- Proficiency with hand and power tools such as miter saws, pneumatic nail guns, and table saws
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow build plans
- Ability to lift and carry heavy materials (up to 75 lbs)
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Bilingual (Spanish)
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $22.00 - $25.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 – 50 per week
