SyncSmart.io is seeking a highly motivated Data Integration Platform Engineer with a versatile skill set to build on our multi-faceted data integration platform. This role is part of SyncSmart’s platform team of engineers.
In this role, you will need to :
Develop and maintain a deep understanding of our data integration platform, its capabilities, and use cases.
Build out a robust, feature-rich front end
Thoroughly test apps and integrations to ensure data accuracy, integrity, and reliability.
Stay abreast of emerging trends and technologies in the data integration space, and proactively identify opportunities to enhance the platform.
Take personal ownership of your solutions.
Autonomously and professionally design multiple solutions at a time without losing sight of each project's unique details and intricacies, in a fast-paced environment.
Work with various SaaS, CRM and ERP systems and their APIs.
Create and maintain high-quality, detailed documentation for each of your solutions.
Contribute to and promote strong teamwork in a remote working environment.
Collaborate and work with an agile team.
Desired Profile and Skill Set :
Full-stack engineer
Possess a deep understanding of API architecture and interaction.
A team player who can operate with autonomy and efficiency in a fully remote environment.
Excellent professional communication skills - both verbal and written.
Analytical and problem-solving skills, using technical acumen and creative resourcefulness.
Self-starter with a willingness to become a subject matter expert and to learn new skills.
Comfortable as a catalyst for changing best practices or anti-habits.
Comfortable with being thrown new technical challenges, navigating uncharted territory on new projects, and tackling these challenges independently.
A proven ability to create consensus and alignment around a chosen design path, and, using reason and tact, diplomatically negotiate compromises when presented with conflicting information.
Teamwork and Leadership skills that can rally the team around the project goals. Willingness to collaboratively contribute to the growth and success of the company as a whole.
Experience working in scrum and agile environments is a plus.
Qualifications :
Relevant degree or working experience.
Fluent in English.
Experience with React JS.
Experience with REST / SOAP APIs, JSON and Javascript.
Experience with relational and non-relational databases.
Experience with C#.net or a willingness to learn.
Minimum 3 years of integration experience with SaaS, CRM and ERP software.
A proven ability to develop technical solutions involving more than one platform / software.
Understanding of software development methodologies (scrum / agile).
