Key Responsibilities:
- Provide nursing care to residents as prescribed by physicians and adhere to nursing practices and regulations.
- Supervise Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) staff in delivering direct resident care under the Director of Nursing's supervision.
Requirements:
- Current licensure as a Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) in good standing by the State.
- Ability to relate positively to residents and families, work cooperatively with colleagues, and maintain regular attendance.
- Capable of supervising other employees and achieving resident care objectives through teamwork.
- Meet local health regulations and complete a post-offer health assessment successfully.
- Physical and sensory requirements: walking, reaching, climbing, bending, lifting, grasping, fine hand coordination, pushing, pulling, hearing and responding to pages, distinguishing smells, tastes, and temperatures, reading and writing, communicating verbally and in writing.
