Duties
- Perform heavy lifting and physical labor as required for various construction projects.
- Execute water damage restoration tasks, ensuring that affected areas are properly restored and rebuilt.
- Read and interpret schematics to accurately construct and install structures.
- Engage in metal stud framing for interior wall construction.
- Utilize hand tools effectively for various carpentry tasks, including measuring, cutting, and assembling materials.
- Assist with masonry work as needed, including bricklaying and concrete pouring.
- Carry out flooring installation projects, ensuring that surfaces are level and securely fitted.
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time while adhering to safety standards.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in carpentry or a related field is preferred.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting (up to 50 pounds) and engage in physically demanding tasks throughout the workday.
- Familiarity with water damage restoration techniques is a plus.
- Strong understanding of construction schematics and blueprints.
- Experience with metal stud framing is desirable.
- Proficiency in using hand tools safely and effectively is essential.
- Experience in masonry work and flooring installation will be considered an asset.
