Your primary role will consist of, but not limited to, the following:
- Shop equipment maintenance and operation
- Carrying out diagnostic tests and repairs to a variety of makes and models of diesel filters
- Documenting the weight and flow of the DPF to be cleaned and after maintenance to show the improvements in soot/ash removed and the improvement in air flow
- Prioritizing repair work based on urgency and requirements
- Assisting with loading and unloading items from vehicles
- Providing excellent customer service, answering questions, and handling complaints from clients
Secondary responsibilities will include:
- Loading, transporting, and delivering items to clients or businesses in a safe, timely manner
- Adhering to assigned routes in and following time schedules in GPS tracked vehicles when required. Abiding by all transportation laws and maintaining a safe driving record
- Reviewing orders before and after delivery to ensure that orders are complete, the charges are correct, and the customer is satisfied
Requirements:
- Experience as a diesel technician or similar role
- Familiarity with diesel systems
- Some mechanical experience
- Excellent customer service skills
- Ability to lift up to 75 pounds and perform physically demanding duties
- Basic computer knowledge and ability to learn in house programs
- Motivated to get the job done in an efficient manner and to specifications.
- Possess excellent diagnostic and troubleshooting skills and abilities.
- Be proficient in English, both verbally and written.
- Prioritize repair work based on urgency and requirements
