This is a remote position.
- PLEASE NOTE THIS POSITION WILL ALLOW CONSULTANT TO WORK REMOTELY. HOWEVER, AS A Project Manager, DUTIES WILL OCCASSIONALLY NECESSITATE CONSULTANT TO WORK ONSITE. THEREFORE, WILL BE CRITICAL FOR THE CONSULTANT TO BE LOCAL TO NYC AND ABLE TO TRAVEL TO OUR OFFICE WITHOUT ISSUE, AS NEEDED (AT THEIR OWN EXPENSE).
This position will manage and execute all aspects of cybersecurity projects in any one of the following specialties : systems / business analysis, development and implementation of applications in a cloud based environment, and implementation of Identity Management products.
Work location is primarily Remote however, flexibility is required to come into the office when required. At 2 BWY in NYC primarily, or at JCC in Jamaica Queens upon request.

Qualified candidates should possess a Bachelor's Degree in a related discipline, eight years' experience in the appropriate specialties and a minimum of two years' experience as a project manager (PMP and / or Agile certification is desirable).
Experience should include a sound understanding of technical issues, cybersecurity, and outstanding planning (experience in preparation of project plans a must), scheduling, implementation, and evaluation skills.
Proven solid background in project management frameworks, documentation, risk identification, problem assessment, vendor management, financial analysis, development of alternative solutions, cost / benefit analysis of alternative solutions and working with technical resources / vendors.
Excellent ability to communicate verbally and in writing with the user community and the technical staff is essential.

Extensive experience in Scrum and waterfall project management. Excellent presentation skills.
