You will troubleshoot hardware and software issues, provide guidance on IT-related inquiries, and ensure that our systems are running smoothly.
Key Responsibilities:
- Respond to calls, emails, and in-person requests for technical support from staff and clients
- Diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues, including desktops, laptops, printers, and other peripherals
- Install, configure, and maintain computer systems, software applications, and networks
- Provide remote support using remote desktop tools to assist users in different locations
- Document issues and solutions in a ticketing system, maintaining clear and concise records
- Assist in the setup and deployment of new hardware and software for employees
- Provide training to staff on software applications and best practices in IT usage
- Collaborate with IT team members to identify and implement improvements in systems and processes
Qualifications:
- Associate's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field; Bachelor's degree preferred
- 1-3 years of experience in a technical support role or help desk environment
- Strong understanding of computer systems, mobile devices, and other technology
- Familiarity with operating systems (Windows, macOS, Linux) and common software applications
- Exceptional problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically under pressure
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a focus on customer service
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of networking principles and protocols is a plus
