Lyon County is accepting applications for the position of Conservation Technician. The purpose of this position is to provide technical assistance in planning and applying soil and water conservation practices. In addition, this position will assist in the administration of the county ditch systems and the Lyon County Zoning Ordinances. A 2-year degree in Ag/Environmental Science and 3 years of work-related experience desired, with a 4-year degree in Agriculture/Environmental Science preferred. Must be willing to obtain MPCA Individual Sewage Treatment System Inspector Certification. The range of hourly pay is $27.53 – $38.52 with full county benefits.
