Duties include:
- Diagnosing defects and installing, repairing, and maintaining heating, ventilating, and air conditioning units
- Calibrating systems for optimal performance
- Performing preventative maintenance and routine servicing of equipment to ensure seamless operation
- Understanding and following written and oral instructions from supervisors and colleagues
- Operating specialized machinery, equipment, and tools used in the repair and installation of HVAC systems
- Participating in a rotating on-call schedule for after-hours and weekends
- Communicating technical information efficiently to customers
- Collaborating with colleagues to achieve shared goals
- Meeting schedules and deadlines while working independently with minimal supervision
