Basic Function
The Site Manager will oversee the strategic direction for the Evansville Ohara Plant within the Advanced Polymer Solutions (APS) segment in the USCAN Region. This role involves developing and executing strategies to achieve profitable growth, surpassing industry averages in both revenue and profit, thereby contributing to regional and divisional goals.
Roles & Responsibilities
Strategic Planning
o Develop and implement strategic plans to enhance plant performance and achieve organizational goals.
o Analyze market trends and operational data to forecast future needs and opportunities.
o Align plant objectives with overall company strategy to ensure cohesive progress.
Team Leadership
o Lead, mentor, and develop plant staff, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.
o Set clear performance expectations and provide regular feedback and coaching.
o Promote a safe and inclusive work environment, encouraging diversity and teamwork.
Operational Oversight
o Oversee daily plant operations to ensure efficiency, quality, and safety standards are met.
o Implement and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to drive continuous improvement.
o Coordinate with other departments to streamline processes and resolve operational issues.
Project and Quality Governance
o Manage plant projects from initiation to completion, ensuring they meet quality, budget, and timeline requirements.

Financial Management
o Develop and manage the plant’s budget, ensuring cost-effective operations.

Min. Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree : A degree in Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, Industrial Management, or a related field or at least 10 years of relevant experience in a manufacturing or related field. This experience should include several years in supervisory or managerial positions to demonstrate the necessary leadership and operational skills.
- Managerial Experience : At least five years of experience in a managerial or supervisory role within a plant or manufacturing environment.
- Leadership and Team Management : Strong leadership skills to manage and motivate teams effectively.
- Problem-Solving and Decision-Making : Ability to identify issues and implement effective solutions quickly.
- Strategic Thinking : Capability to develop and execute strategic plans to improve plant performance.
- Operational Knowledge : Deep understanding of plant operations, including production processes, quality control, and safety regulations.
