Basic Function
The Operations Supervisor will supervise operators in the LDPE unit. A candidate for this position should be able to effectively manage personnel performance, champion change, influence and guide, be a company advocate, and make sound decisions in the absence of clear direction or written guidelines. Must have proven leadership capabilities, demonstrated team-building abilities, and strong interpersonal skills to foster a positive attitude within the department.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Drive GoalZero performance in occupational safety, process safety, and environmental compliance.
- Ensures site’s compliance with LyondellBasell Operational Excellence Standards and site procedures.
- Ensures unit production and quality targets are achieved through operating best practices and procedures.
- Develop hourly operations personnel through coaching, goal setting, feedback, and unit assignments.
- Schedules and assigns hourly personnel to staff the plant.
