We have 3 locations in Frankfort and 1 location in Lexington opening at the end of 2021 with plans to open up more stores across Kentucky. General Summary
The Yard Loader is responsible for building orders into loads for our trucks to deliver & filling orders for our drive thru customers accurately, quickly & with a smile.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities Include the following:
Customer Service
• Be friendly & courteous to all customers.
• Greet customers entering the driveway & thank customers as they are leaving.
• Be accurate with their order of material & the count.
• Make sure you have the right material & know where it is stored.
• Speed of getting customers on their way is a must.
• Communicate any problems with your yard Forman.
• Material returns must be supervised by your yard Forman.
Yard Duties
• Load & Unload Lumber from trucks.
• Restock new lumber in their proper place.
• Fork lift operated in safe & efficient manner always.
• Always work safely & be aware of your surroundings.
• Must help maintain a safe, clean and well organized lumber yard.
• Take & pass all drug tests.
• Perform all other duties as assigned.
Appearance
• Keep a clean appearance & reasonable clothes with no holes.
• Wear the company shirt everyday.
• Be able to read & understand exactly what is on the orders
• It is outdoor work
• Have common sense on loading & lifting heavy materials
• Must learn & get certified on forklift operation
• Always work well with co-workers & be friendly to customers
• Must be on time & have good attendance
