Job Title: General Ledger Accountant

Job Description

Responsibilities:

• Record financial transactions and post debits (costs) and credits (income).
• Reconcile accounts to ensure their accuracy.
• Conduct account analysis to ensure entries and balances are correct.
• Prepare month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing entries.
• Assist in the preparation of budgets and financial forecasts.
• Coordinate with internal and external auditors during financial and operational audits.
• Ensure compliance with accounting principles, company procedures, and regulatory requirements.
• Identify and resolve discrepancies in financial entries, reports, and summaries.
• Assist in the development and implementation of accounting systems, policies, and procedures.
• Process Accounts Receivable Invoices and post AR Payments

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 3-5 years of experience in accounting or finance.
• Strong understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.

• Self-starter and proactive.
• Team player with the ability to meet goals and deadlines.
