Position Title: Painter Apprentice

Position Type: Full Time
Description of Duties:
Assist Journeyman lever painters with surface preparation, painting, and finishing tasks, applying a variety of methods, media, and techniques to both interior and exterior surfaces.
Skills and Requirements:
Must have the ability to:
Keep work area clean and organized as directed by Lead Painter
Erect and work on rolling scaffold for entire shift
Move and utilize up to a 28’ ladder (including extension)
Carry full 5-gallon container of paint or equivalent weight on stairs
Wear and use Respirator
Work in all weather conditions applicable to painting
Work while on knees
Bend and reach while preparing and painting surfaces for entire work shift
Complete task assigned by Lead Painter at budgeted labor hours to company’s standards
Learn new skills with training
Adapt to standard field operating procedures
Assist Lead Painter as needed or directed
Compensation: $16.50 - $19.00/Hour
