Production Associate - Cleaning Specialist
Position Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Production Associate to join our team, specializing in the cleaning and restoration of items affected by fire or water damage. In this role, you will be responsible for handling and restoring items to their pre-loss condition, ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness and care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Cleaning and Restoration:
- Thoroughly clean, sanitize, and deodorize items affected by fire, smoke, soot, or water damage using appropriate tools, equipment, and cleaning solutions.
- Handle delicate and high-value items with care to ensure proper restoration without causing further damage.
- Inventory Management:
- Document and track items through the cleaning and restoration process.
- Assist in organizing and maintaining storage areas for processed items.
- Quality Control:
- Inspect items before and after cleaning to ensure they meet company and client standards.
- Identify items that require specialized care and communicate with team leads or supervisors for further instructions.
- Equipment Maintenance:
- Operate and maintain cleaning equipment, including ultrasonic cleaning systems, air scrubbers, dehumidifiers, and other tools.
- Perform routine checks and cleaning of equipment to ensure safe and efficient operation.
- Health and Safety:
- Follow safety protocols, including wearing personal protective equipment (PPE) when required.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment in compliance with company safety guidelines.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in cleaning, restoration, or a related field is preferred but not required.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to handle tasks with care and precision.
- Physical ability to lift, carry, and move items up to 50 lbs as needed.
- Willingness to work in environments affected by fire, smoke, or water damage.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
