What are the responsibilities and job description for the Wire EDM Programmer/Technician position at Lyons Tool & Die Company?
Performs programming and set up on FANUC Wire EDM’s. Works with Tool Room Department to meet schedules and prioritize work requirements. Participates in technical reviews and advises on design improvements for ease of manufacturability.
Plans, performs, and documents routine preventive maintenance on Wire EDM machines with respect to manufacturers recommended schedule. Performs general housekeeping duties to maintain a clean and safe work area.
Familiarity with ROBOCUT CAMi, Mastercam software & Progressive Dies preferred.
Salary is based on experience.
