Operating Executive - Lyra Technology Group

Lyra Technology Group is seeking a dynamic and experienced Operating Executive to lead one of our newly acquired Operating Companies in Portsmouth, New Hampshire. The Operating Executive will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations, driving growth strategy, and ensuring the financial success of the business. The role requires a strong leader capable of optimizing both organic and inorganic growth, while maintaining the company’s culture and autonomy.

Key Responsibilities

• Strategic Leadership: Provide clear and effective leadership, setting the vision, strategy, and direction of the company. Ensure alignment with Lyra Technology Group’s long-term growth goals.
• Operational Oversight: Manage day-to-day operations, ensuring the company runs efficiently and effectively, while promoting a culture of continuous improvement.
• Financial Performance: Oversee financial performance, including P&L management, budgeting, and forecasting for a multi-million-dollar business.
• Growth & Expansion: Build and optimize an organic growth engine to drive revenue and market expansion. Identify and pursue inorganic growth opportunities through acquisitions, partnerships, and strategic alliances.
• Acquisitions & Diligence: Lead the due diligence process for potential acquisitions, ensuring alignment with the company’s growth strategy and financial goals.
• Executive Leadership: Lead the hiring, development, and retention of senior management and key leadership roles. Build a high-performing, collaborative team focused on achieving the company’s objectives.
  
  

Qualifications

• Proven experience as an Operating Executive or senior leadership role within a technology service or similar industry. MSP and Small Company experience preferred.
• Strong track record of managing multi-million-dollar businesses and achieving financial targets.
• Exceptional strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities with a focus on long-term sustainable growth.
• Experience in both organic and inorganic growth strategies, including acquisitions and integrations.
• Ability to lead and motivate a diverse team, fostering a positive and high-performance company culture.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships at all levels of the organization.
• Experience in managing P&L and financial oversight for large-scale businesses.

This role is targeting a base compensation of $175,000-200,000 per year and will operate on a hybrid basis out of the New Hampshire office.
