Tech Lead– Lyra Technology Group

Lyra Technology Group is seeking a Tech Lead for one of our operating companies based out of New Jersey. The Tech Lead oversees our technical team, manages client environments, and ensures the successful implementation of IT solutions. The ideal candidate will have expertise in Microsoft Azure and SharePoint infrastructure, as we are beginning to develop these services for our client base. Experience with these platforms will be a significant advantage, and we are also open to acquiring this expertise through the right hire.

Your work as a Tech Lead will include the following duties:

• Lead and mentor a team of engineers and technicians to ensure high-quality IT service delivery.
• Manage and refine service delivery processes within ConnectWise, ensuring efficient ticket handling, escalations, and documentation.
• Act as a senior escalation point for complex technical issues, troubleshooting and resolving infrastructure-related challenges.
• Collaborate with sales, client management, and clients to assess IT needs, develop technology roadmaps, and implement best practices.
• Work in partnership with the CISO to align infrastructure strategies with security policies and compliance requirements.
• Drive automation and process improvements to enhance service efficiency and scalability.
• Serve as the subject matter expert on Microsoft Azure and SharePoint infrastructure, ensuring optimal performance, scalability, and efficiency.
• Architect and implement Azure-based cloud solutions, including virtual machines, networking, identity management, and hybrid environments.
• Oversee SharePoint infrastructure, including administration, migrations, performance optimization, and governance.
  
  

Our Ideal Tech Lead Has The Following Qualifications

• 5 years of experience in IT leadership or a senior engineering role within a Managed Service Provider (MSP).
• Experience with ConnectWise (Manage, Automate, and Control) for service delivery and operations.
• Hands-on experience with Windows Server, Active Directory, Microsoft 365, Intune, and PowerShell scripting.
• Experience with networking technologies (switches, routers, VLANs, Wi-Fi, and VoIP).
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to manage complex technical projects.
• Excellent communication skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Relevant certifications such as Azure Administrator (AZ-104), Microsoft 365 Certified, or SharePoint-related certifications. (Preferred)
• Experience in process automation, scripting, and RMM/PSA optimization. (Preferred)
  
  

The targeted base compensation for this role is $95,000-$110,000 per year and will primarily operate out of their office in Holmdel, New Jersey. A hybrid schedule is available after training is completed.
