Position Overview

We are looking for an RF Engineering Manager to lead our Sensors RF team. The successful candidate will be a leader in RF Systems Design and lead a team working on multiple projects within Sensor technologies. They will demonstrate strong organizational and detail-oriented skills, the ability to efficiently handle complex technical issues, and an aptitude for leading engineers on the challenging technical work to be achieved.

Responsibilities :

• Responsible for development activities for multiple, high complexity projects for deployment worldwide utilizing wireless radio communications technologies, taking projects from ideation through to production release.
• Design responsibilities also include the simulation, test and evaluation of prototype communications element and systems designs for sensor applications under both laboratory and field conditions and the initial integration of prototype communications elements into the supporting communications infrastructure.
• Scope of responsibilities will include establishing customer requirements, identification of solutions fulfilling those requirements and then creating technical specifications, cost-effective engineering designs and test plans, that include design for testability and manufacturability.
• Lead and support engineers and technicians in the design, build, and test phases of RF projects and programs for existing and new sensor applications.
• Interact with the technical and project support staff on multiple projects.
• Advise and collaborate with the technical staff on strategic customer interactions.
• Be responsible for monitoring spending, staffing, contract schedule, subcontracts, material purchases, and deliverables.
• Give feedback on architectural tradeoffs and design decisions down to component / circuit level.
• Work cross-functionally with internal and external design teams to align on common design goals.
• Generate internal and external documentation to define schedule, features, functionality, cost, quality, reliability, regulatory compliance, and industry standards compliance.
• Some international travel may be needed.

Compensation Range :

The expected base salary range for this position is between $170,700.00 - $256,100.00. The level of pay within the range will depend on a variety of job-related factors that may include location, relevant prior experience and / or education, or particular skills and expertise.

The level of pay within the range will depend on a variety of job-related factors that may include location, relevant prior experience and / or education, or particular skills and expertise. New hires joining the company tend to be paid within the starting base pay range noted above, with opportunities to increase pay over time based on development of additional skills, competencies, and company-specific knowledge.

In addition to base pay this position is eligible for tier based bonus and equity, healthcare, dental, vision, corporate discounts, paid holidays, PTO and sick time, 401K, employee relocation plan (if applicable).
