Job Summary:
The Custodian position at Lytle is an as-needed basis role that can be assigned to any of our school buildings. This role involves performing various custodial duties to maintain a high standard of safety, cleanliness, and efficiency in building operations and grounds.
Custodial Duties:
- Taking out trash
- Sweeping
- Mopping
- Stripping floors as assigned
- Waxing floors as assigned
- Other duties specified by immediate supervisor
Responsibilities:
- FOLLOW ROUTINE CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE PROCEDURES TO ENSURE A HIGH STANDARD OF SAFETY, CLEANLINESS, AND EFFICIENCY IN BUILDING OPERATIONS AND GROUNDS
- Must have ability to read and understand instructions for cleaning, maintenance, and safety procedures
- Knowledge of minor repair techniques and building and grounds maintenance
- Ability to operate cleaning equipment and lift heavy equipment
- Ability to properly handle cleaning supplies
