Wireline Operator

Our team takes pride in executing high-quality work while maintaining the highest industry standards. As we continue to expand, we are seeking an experienced Wireline Operator to join our team.

Job Summary:

The Wireline Operator is responsible for operating and maintaining wireline equipment to support well-plugging and abandonment operations. This role requires experience running CCL (Casing Collar Locator), CBL (Cement Bond Log), and Gamma Ray Logs to assess well integrity as well as using casing cutters and shots to sever pipe. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, a commitment to safety, and a Class B CDL (minimum) to operate the required equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

· Operate wireline equipment for logging and well-plugging operations, including CCL, CBL, and Gamma Logs.

· Set plugs, retrieve tools, and perform downhole diagnostics.

· Rig up and rig down wireline units safely and efficiently.

· Maintain and inspect all wireline tools, cables, and associated equipment to ensure operational readiness.

· Drive and operate wireline trucks (requiring Class B CDL minimum).

· Assist in wellsite preparation, including coordinating with rig crews and other service providers.

· Accurately document job details, tool usage, and operational data.

· Troubleshoot and resolve operational issues in the field.

· Ensure compliance with all safety regulations, DOT requirements, ATF requirements and company policies.

· Participate in safety meetings and job hazard analysis (JHA) before each operation.

· Maintain a clean and organized work environment, including equipment and vehicles.

Qualifications & Requirements:

· Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience in wireline operations, particularly in CCL, CBL, and Gamma Logging.

· License: CDL Class B (minimum) required.

· Certifications (Preferred or Required):

· H2S Certification

· OSHA and DOT compliance training

Technical Skills:

· Strong understanding of downhole logging tools and wellbore conditions.

· Ability to interpret log data and ensure accurate reporting.

Physical Requirements:

· Ability to lift 50 lbs, work in extreme weather conditions, and handle physically demanding tasks.

Pay: $30.00 - $35.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 60 per week
