The Big Picture –
Responsible for the management of highly complex, highly prioritized, company strategic initiatives to achieve company goals. Responsible to lead and manage one or more highly complex Steering Team initiatives or enterprise-wide IT programs impacting several business functions.
Responsibilities
You Will :
Perform end-to-end project management of medium to large initiatives, including :Partnering with business leadership
Managing project delivery across internal ITPartnering with third-party vendors and service providersAssist in defining best-in-class project delivery methods and ensure best practices and methods are adopted by team membersAssist PMO Manager in building and maintaining a best-in-breed PMOMentor project managers and business analystsManage all aspects of assigned initiatives / IT projects; including scope, schedule, budget, risks, and issuesIdentify areas of risk, initiatives and planning for mitigationProvide status updates to executive sponsors, business owners, and key stakeholders on program status, scope, schedule, and budget by facilitating meetings and delivering executive-level presentationsManage projects across internal IT teams, business services groups, field operating groups, and third-party software partnersCultivate relationships across the business services groups to provide project leadershipPromote, provide input, and assist with evolving the Project Management Office capabilityProvide subject matter expertise in areas including project management, scope definition, risk identification, mitigation, and project financial managementPartner with other ITS Leaders to provide input to and / or assist with tool selection, strategic vendor partners, and providing input to the technology roadmap relative to the project they manageProvide input to the Project Management team budget including initiatives and trainingEffectively work and build relationships with those of diverse backgrounds and organizational levelsAll other duties or special projects as assignedQualifications
You Will Have :
Bachelor's or Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, or other related field or equivalent work experienceMinimum of five years of IT and business / industry work experience, with at least one year of leadership experience and two years in managing large IT, operational and / or business transformation programsExtensive experience in the use of Project Management methodologies and tools including, but not limited to Agile, Standard SDLC and / or WaterfallExperience with both ‘build’ and ‘buy’ methods for project delivery (software as a service / Saas, mobile apps, custom build solutions and large ERP systems)Experience with vendor negotiations, RFPs, and statements of workExperience with implementing appropriate financial controls within programs and projectsExperience with ITIL and Service Level Management conceptsPrevious experience managing (either directly or indirectly) project teams and team members preferredExperience with construction, project operations & supply chain preferredExperience with business process improvement and / or LEAN methods preferredExperience with service readiness and project implementation planningExperience with Organization Change Management methods preferredAbility to travel up to 25%J-18808-Ljbffr
