Assistant Equipment Solutions Manager
SUMMARY
Mortenson is currently seeking an Assistant Equipment Solutions Managerthat will partner with the Equipment Solutions Managers to provide support and leadership within the Equipment Solutions Group. This position is located at our Energy and Infrastructure facility in Northwood, IA.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Managing and organizing owned equipment, storage, and tooling
- Equipment planning and scheduling with internal project teams, equipment solutions teams, and 3rd party vendors
- Large inventory management
- Rental software contract management
- Equipment logistics planning
- Vendor relations
- Understanding of construction equipment maintenance, opportunities, constraints and requirements
- Establish improved efficiencies and process improvement plans for warehouse and equipment yard using 5S strategies
- Lead department initiatives to include development, training and support
- Manage a team of craft and non-craft team members
- Support innovation by encouraging new process development
- Interior and exterior responsibilities required
- Travel expectation 25%

QUALIFICATIONS

The base pay range for this role is $96,400 - $130,100. (Actual range is higher for the following office locations : Denver, CO and Chicago, IL - 5%, Seattle, WA, and Portland, OR - 10%, Washington, D.C. - 12.5%).
Base pay is positioned within the range based on several factors including an individual's knowledge, skills, and experience, with consideration given to internal equity.
