Senior Software Developer - Oracle Developer
SUMMARY
Mortenson is currently seeking a Senior Software Developer that will provide Responsible for engaging in all hands-on software development activities, including analyzing, designing, developing, testing, and implementing modifications to Oracle SaaS Cloud HCM and ERP Applications, as well as PaaS Custom Applications developed using Oracle APEX and VBCS. Additionally, provide production support to ensure smooth operation and timely resolution of issues.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Analyze, design, develop, test, and implement modifications to Oracle SaaS Cloud HCM and ERP Applications, as well as PaaS Custom Applications developed using Oracle APEX and VBCS.
- Provide production support during critical process failures and collaborate with vendors, especially Oracle Support, to resolve issues promptly.
- Collaborate with internal business partners and IT colleagues to define detailed requirements and system interfaces, evaluating the value of vendor-provided software modifications versus custom modules.
- Research and analyze business problems to improve daily work processes and develop recommended solutions.
- Work independently and within a team environment as a highly motivated developer.
- Utilize project management methodologies to provide estimates, status updates, and issue escalation.
- Assist and mentor junior developers with roadblocks and design decisions by thoroughly understanding the functional requirements.
- Adapt to change and continuously learn new technologies.
- Demonstrate strong active listening skills and effective communication, with an openness to diverse input and feedback.

The base pay range for this role is $112,200 - $168,300. (Actual range is higher for the following office locations : Denver, CO and Chicago, IL - 5%, Seattle, WA, and Portland, OR - 10%, Washington, D.C. - 12.5%).
Base pay is positioned within the range based on several factors including an individual's knowledge, skills, and experience, with consideration given to internal equity.
