What are the responsibilities and job description for the Field Specialist position at M&C Assemblies Inc?
M&C Assemblies has been in business for over 30 years! We take pride in being the dominant assembly provider in the industry! We accomplish this with a core strategy consisting of ethics, analytics, and a sense of urgency. We cater to large national retail chains for in-store assembly of retail products such as: toolboxes, grills, wheelbarrows, patio furniture, lawn mowers, etc.
As a Field Specialist, you would represent the best of who we are. Primarily as an excellent assembly technician, you understand not only how to build, but that every item we assemble goes to a real person, and needs to be assembled to manufacturer specifications, every single time. You would be responsible for quality assembly of all items built, introducing new technicians to our culture, completing store quality walks, item repairs, communication with store leadership, and coordinating new crews when needed.
Position Requirements:
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Reliable transportation – You will be responsible for traveling between 10-14 stores in your market.
- Must have your own tools: cordless impact drill w/assorted bits, impact driver, standard socket set, metric socket set, wrench set, hammer, mallet, screwdrivers, safety knife, etc.
- Must be able to pass a background check.
Compensation:
- This is a W2 Employee position:
- Commission for all completed assemblies.
- Flat rate for all completed store walks.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $23.00 per hour
Expected hours: 35 – 45 per week
