Job Title: Deputy Clerk
Location: Marion County Courthouse, Fairmont, West Virginia
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist and respond to inquiries from attorneys, judicial officers, law enforcement officers, and the public.
- Prepare, review, and process legal documents, correspondence, motions, and orders.
- Administer oaths to witnesses and manage courtroom documentation.
- Access fines, fees, and bond payments; reconcile daily receipts.
- Prepare court dockets and maintain accurate records.
- Ensure compliance with court procedures and legal requirements.
Qualifications:
- Proficiency in Adobe and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
