We are seeking a Crew Leader to join our Security and Electronic Systems (SES) business Unit. Executes various technical tasks and responsibilities within field operations. Performs on-site installations, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs of equipment and systems. Ensures the functionality and reliability of various technologies. Key duties include conducting site surveys, configuring hardware and software, testing systems for proper operation, and providing technical support to customers. Field Technicians must possess strong problem-solving skills, technical proficiency, and the ability to communicate effectively with clients and team members.
- Manages crew activity, keeps crew on task and on-time installation, monitors overtime hours worked on projects.
- Trains and leads technicians to ensure readiness in career progression.
- Supports Project Lead/Cost Engineer in B1 take offs, daily material management, and logistics planning for personnel and equipment.
- Utilizes and comprehends project Safety plan (JHA, AHA, PFW), enforcing M.C. Dean handbook and policies.
- Participates in quality reviews of M.C. Dean design documentation, analyzing and interpreting drawing packages to evaluate constructability.
- Supports Project Lead/Cost Engineer in B1 take offs, daily material management, and logistics planning for personnel and equipment.
- Tracks project metrics, manages employee BTA points, and participates in weekly resource allocation meetings.
- Introduction to WBS Cost Code structure to utilize and verify correct charges in timesheets on projects.
- Executes installation and maintenance activities within planned durations, ensuring completion of detailed documentation.
- Tracks and inventories tools, conducts tool inspections, and organizes material ordering and receiving.
- Conducts daily ORM meetings, ensures team compliance with safety requirements, and completes accident/incident reporting.
- Participates in PITCO plan creation and build out, executing PITCO plan to ensure high-quality testing and installation.

- Terminates, tests, and configures IP system controllers, intercoms, cameras, and security equipment.
- Manages base switch configurations, participates in configuration of servers and workstations, and troubleshoots programmable components.
- Ensures compliance with established QC plans and checklists, conducting quality control inspections and documenting findings.
- Installs and maintains field devices, terminates and tests system components, and troubleshoots copper and fiber optic issues.
- Leads commissioning efforts, tracks commissioning activities, and represents M.C. Dean in meetings with owners and design teams.
- Communicates consistently with MC Dean Project Teams, other trades, and customers, demonstrating dedication and collaboration.

Education:

Pay Range: $32.00 - $46.42
Abilities:
- Lifts at least 100 pounds at one time and 60 pounds for an extended period of time.
- Relocates a 12 foot stepladder without assistance.
- Works at various heights up to 60 feet and can climb and maintain balance on scaffolds, aerial lifts, catwalks and all types of ladders.
- Walks, climbs, lifts, squats, crawls, kneels, pushes, pulls and reaches overhead on a routine and repetitive basis.
- Possess good vision (may be corrected vision), the ability to see in color, and the ability to hear and communicate in English.
