We are seeking a Data Specialist to join our Security and Electronic Systems (SES) business Unit. As part of (SES) Strategic Business Unit you will be part of a team that designs, engineers, integrates, operates and maintains electronic security services inclusive of intrusion detection, access control, biometric authentication, video surveillance, audio visual, it systems, perimeter defense and command and control systems for federal, local and commercial customers across high-growth markets.
Responsibilities:
The Data Specialist is a system(s) specialist and Subject Matter Expert (SME). This role requires development of technical solutions through automation, scripting, application development and engineering. The Data Specialist would need to analyze complex systems and business challenges and drive best-in-class implementations. Ability to adapt and continuously develop expertise in automation and business process improvements through technical solutions. The Data Specialist will collaborate frequently with cross-functional teams to implement solutions. Ability to drive productivity and exhibit professional development.
Essential responsibilities and activities include but are not limited to:
- Build and develop automated solutions.
- Create and manage technical design documents.
- Develop and enhance best practices and standards.
- Develop and implement data-driven solutions to complex business problems.
- Present solutions and outcomes to stakeholders and leadership
- Drive for results and solutions adoption
- Customer interfacing and understanding projects’ requirements, providing high quality design solutions and incorporating new models to augment design standards.
- Leading complex projects, mentoring and overseeing projects execution through design excellence processes, ensuring high delivery quality
- Contributes to or may be asked to lead aspects of research, technical analysis, and solutions development.
- Work with stakeholders to ensure system operations, security, including testing, troubleshooting, configuration.
- Develop further expertise within the client’s environment.
Qualifications:

Position/Candidate Requirements
- 2 years of experience with Bachelor's degree or 0 years experience with MS/MA/MBA or High School Diploma/GED with 8 years of experience with installation, troubleshooting and/or testing of electronic security systems
- Or Associates with 6 years of experience
- System administrator experience in performing triage on system problems, resolving the system problems, analyzing system data to prevent problems, and implementing new workstations and system extensions
- Reliable attendance at customer site during work hours required by customer
- Proficiency in a programming language (JavaScript, Python, or C ). Google Apps Script (GAS) experience is a plus.
- SQL experience (Big Query is a plus).
- Extensive experience with Google Sheets, Google Apps Script, and Google Workspace products.
- Experience working with APIs to pull and push data between Google Sheets, third-party applications, and Google Workspace applications.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with strong attention to detail, especially for code documentation.
- Knowledge of data quality best practices.
- A basic understanding of coding theories, such as Big O Notation, time complexity, and space complexity.
- Strong time management and organizational skills to meet deadlines and quality objectives.
- Ability to travel domestically and internationally up to 25% of the time.
Desired / Advantageous Qualifications
- Knowledge of DSA (Data Structures and Algorithms)
- SQL scripting and data mining experience (Big Query, MySQL)
- Experience in JavaScript, Google Apps Script, Python
- Experience with data mining, machine learning, and statistical analysis
- Experience with Google Cloud technologies

Pay Range: $90,000 - $110,000
