Overview:
We are looking for a professional Housekeeper able of attending to an estate in Virginia with integrity and keen attention to detail. The goal is to create a clean, orderly, and pleasant environment for the residents and guests with the highest level of service.
Job responsibilities
- Perform a variety of cleaning activities such as sweeping, mopping, dusting and polishing
- Ensure all rooms are cared for and inspected according to standards
- Protect property by using cleaning products relevant to the materials cleaning
- Notify Estate Manager on any damages, deficits and disturbances
- Resolve complaints/requests with professionalism and patience
- Collecting and disposing of trash
- Assisting guests, when necessary
- Keeping the linen room and other closets organized and tidy
- Check stocking levels of products and replace when appropriate
- Ensuring Principal’s clothes are clean and prepared when needed
- Support travel preparation, to include packing
- Support the care and feeding of family pets
- Work as a member of a team, pitching in to help when/where needed
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements and skills
- Proven experience as a Housekeeper
- Ability to work with little supervision and maintain a high level of performance
- Keen attention to detail and quality work
- Customer-oriented and friendly
- Prioritization and time management skills
- Working quickly without compromising quality
- Knowledge of English language
