We are seeking a Senior Product Manager to join our Security and Electronic Systems (SES) business Unit. As part of (SES) Strategic Business Unit you will be part of a team that designs, engineers, integrates, operates and maintains electronic security services inclusive of intrusion detection, access control, biometric authentication, video surveillance, audio visual, it systems, perimeter defense and command and control systems for federal, local and commercial customers across high-growth markets.
Responsibilities
We design, develop, deploy and manage software which extends, manages, and integrates the OT solutions we deploy with our customer's business systems. The software we develop orchestrates critical business processes for our customers and automates data flow to form their enterprise systems. The focus of this position is driving delivery of the software we build for our customers throughout the entirety of the Software Development Life Cycle. The successful candidate will have a keen ability to research, empathize with, and translate user needs into prioritized, clearly defined product requirements that are understandable by technical and business teams. The Senior Product Manager responsibilities will include (but will not be limited to) the following :
- Lead the end-to-end product lifecycle from concept to implementation.
- Capture, document, and communicate customer needs, translating requirements into features and user stories and drive the technical team's understanding of requirements.
- Define and prioritize product roadmaps to best meet the needs of a diverse set of internal and external stakeholders throughout the organization and across our customer set.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to define product requirements and ensure timely product delivery.
- Manage product backlog, prioritize features, and work with technical and project stakeholders to make trade-off decisions.
- Lead day to day software operations, managing productivity to ensure release targets are consistently met by managing work assignments, balancing resources, and remediating blocking conditions.
- Create, manage, and maintain detailed and accurate system documentation, including design and configuration plans, design diagrams, task-oriented procedures, operations and maintenance plans, etc.
- Plan and conduct user testing (UAT).
- Establish KPIs, identify gaps, and improve performance and adoption of the products we deliver.
- Lead product demos, training sessions, and other activities to support internal and external stakeholders.
Qualifications
Clearance / Citizen Type : Applicants selected will be subject to a government security investigation and may meet eligibility requirements, including U.S. Citizenship, for access to classified information; ability to obtain a TS / SCI w / Poly clearance REQUIRED.
Key Requirements :
SAFe® Scrum Master, SAFe® for Teams, SAFe Product Owner / Product Manager, or similar agile project management certification.
Proven track record of successfully launching and managing complex software products.
