Job Title
M&C Recruiting & Consulting seeks an experienced Engineering Project Leader to lead cross-functional teams in the development and execution of new product programs.
About the Role:
- Develop and execute comprehensive plans for program execution, ensuring timely completion of tasks and alignment with business objectives.
- Lead cross-functional teams through all phases of program development, utilizing established processes and tools.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the key program documentation, maintain programs issue log, and ensure traceability of the program key milestones and decisions.
- Participate on risk assessment process and monitor fulfillment progress of open risks and mitigation actions.
Requirements:
- Bachelor of Science / Engineering Degree in a related technical field.
- Minimum 5 years' experience in Engineering, new product development programs, NPI, including working directly with customers.
- Working knowledge of the investment casting business and experience manufacturing facilities qualifying new programs.
Preferred Skills:
- Self-driven individual with an acute sense of urgency and ability to manage complex development programs.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, tactfully managing difficult circumstances and resolving conflicts.
- Ability to create and think through complex development program plans, identifying and resolving gaps/risk before they cause issues.
Skills and Abilities:
- Outstanding organizational skills and discipline to build project plans with the ability to also look at the macro view subjectively.
- Ability to deploy and utilize the APQP process for new products, adhere to business procedures and unite key functions to work collaboratively.
