Job Overview
Summary :
We are seeking a detail-oriented Project Accountant to join our team. This role will be responsible for managing financial aspects of projects, ensuring accuracy and compliance, and delivering insightful financial analysis to support project objectives. The successful candidate will play a critical part in supporting project teams to make financially informed decisions.
Key Responsibilities
Primary Duties :
- Oversee project accounting activities and ensure compliance with financial policies and procedures.
- Prepare and analyze financial reports, budgets, and forecasts related to project activities.
- Maintain accurate records of project financial transactions, including billing and invoicing.
- Track project costs and ensure expenses are aligned with budget constraints.
- Collaborate with project managers to review financial performance and provide recommendations for improvements.
- Monitor project progress to meet financial objectives and report variances to management.
- Assist in the development and enhancement of financial management processes and systems.
- Participate in audits and ensure proper internal controls are in place.
- Contribute to the preparation of financial presentations for stakeholders.
