About the Role:
Are you a detail-oriented payroll professional looking for an opportunity to make an impact? We are seeking a Payroll Administrator to join our team! This role plays a critical part in supporting both our HR and Accounting teams, ensuring payroll operations run smoothly, accurately, and in compliance with all federal and state regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
Payroll Administration & Compliance
· Process bi-weekly and supplemental payrolls with accuracy and efficiency.
· Handle payroll-related details such as garnishments, deductions, and taxes.
· Ensure payroll updates (new hires, terminations, pay changes) are processed correctly.
· Address employee payroll inquiries and resolve discrepancies.
· Stay current with federal and state payroll laws (FLSA, Wage & Hour, FMLA, ADA, etc.).
· Reconcile payroll data and prepare payroll reports for the finance team.
· Collaborate on year-end processes, including W-2s, 1095-Cs, and 401(k)/benefits reporting.
System Management
· Conduct regular audits to ensure accurate employee records, ACA compliance, and tax reporting.
· Maintain and update system data to reflect current employee information.
· Partner with the accounting team for payroll reconciliation, tax reporting, and compliance.
HR & Accounting Support
· Act as a trusted advisor for employees and managers regarding payroll matters.
· Provide HR support for onboarding, offboarding, performance management, and audits.
· Stay up to date on payroll trends and regulatory changes to drive continuous improvement.
