We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Medical Assistant to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for dermatology, a commitment to patient care, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

As a Medical Assistant at MD Aesthetics and Dermatology, you will play a crucial role in supporting our dermatologists and ensuring a smooth and efficient patient experience.

**Key Responsibilities:**

- **Patient Care:** Assist dermatologists during consultations, exams, and procedures. Ensure patient comfort and maintain a high standard of care.

- **Clinical Support:** Prepare examination rooms, sterilize instruments, and maintain cleanliness and organization in the clinical areas.

- **Administrative Duties:** Manage patient records, schedule appointments, and handle patient inquiries. Assist with insurance verification and billing as needed.

- **Procedure Assistance:** Assist in a variety of dermatological procedures, including biopsies, excisions, laser treatments, and cosmetic procedures.

- **Patient Education:** Provide patients with pre- and post-procedure instructions, educate them on skincare routines, and assist with product recommendations.

- **Inventory Management:** Monitor and maintain clinical supplies and inventory, ensuring that all necessary materials are available for procedures.

**Qualifications:**

- **Education:** High school diploma or equivalent required; completion of a certified Medical Assistant program preferred. In lieu of Medical Assistant certificate, would consider Bachelors degree.

- **Experience:

** Previous experience in dermatology, plastic surgery or a similar medical field is highly desirable.

- **Skills:

-Efficiency of skills acquisition. You are a better match if you type notes vs. take written notes.

-Ability to multitask without compromise details

** Strong communication and interpersonal skills, excellent organizational abilities, and attention to detail.

Proficiency in google admin console, including but not limited to Google Sheets, Google Word, Google Powerpoint b electronic health records (EHR) systems is a plus.

- **Certifications:

** Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) preferred but not required.

-Requirement: Must be Phlebotomy certified. If not, must be willing and able to obtain certification on their own within the first 29 days of hire.
