What are the responsibilities and job description for the Mixing Operator position at M-D Building Products Inc?
This is a 1st Shift position during the hours of 6AM-2:45PM; Monday – Friday.
Responsibilities:
- Mixing various components of products based on batch forms.
- Verifying weights and measurements to ensure accuracy.
- Expected to maintain a clean and orderly work area.
- Will be required to help train and supervise others in department when necessary.
- Must perform assigned duties in a safe, professional manner.
- Must cooperate with other departments and clearly communicate with supervisor.
- May be required to operate forklifts once trained and certified.
- Must be willing to work overtime and various shifts when necessary.
- Occasional lifting and moving of up to 50lbs. or more is required.
Minimum Qualifications:
- High School Diploma
- Strong communication
- Must be able to stand for 8 hours.
- Must be able to read & write.
- Must have your own transportation.
- Must be on time every day. Attendance is very important.
Preferred Knowledge, Skills, and/or Abilities:
- Operator experience (preferred)
- Must be comfortable with heat tolerance with a suit on.
