What are the responsibilities and job description for the Order Picker/Forklift Operator (2:45PM-11:15PM) position at M-D Building Products Inc?
Requirements:
- Executing all tasks with safety as the top priority.
- Full range of motion (standing, lifting, bending, stretching).
- Ability to stand or sit for 8 hours.
- Ability to lift product ranging in weight from 11 lbs. to 50-65 lbs.
- Limited chemical handling transporting product from one department to another.
- Receiving and executing delegation from department leadership.
- Accuracy when pulling product, checking product into the DC, and loading shipments.
- Communication, and basic math skills.
- Understanding written and verbal communication.
- Ability to drive sit down and standup forklifts.
- Housekeeping to ensure a clean and safe working environment.
- Wearing and maintaining proper PPE (Personal Protective Equipment i.e. steel toe shoes/boots).
- Ability to work in a team environment.
