Description
Rental department team members consistently make customers happy by providing a high level of cheerful, knowledgeable customer service that clearly differentiates us from traditional rental yards, outdoor power equipment dealers, and big box retailers.
Responsibilities/Duties/Functions/Tasks
- Greet and engage customers entering the rental department.
- Answer rental calls, radio and phone calls.
- Generate customer special orders.
- Advise customers/demonstrate rental equipment
- Complete rental transactions in accordance with company procedures.
- Assemble/stock incoming inventory in accordance with company procedures; restock back stock as needed.
- Inform management of inventory issues needing attention, including merchandise that needs to be added.
- Maintain general housekeeping in rental department, both inside and outside.
- Maintain a high level of safety and security in the rental department.
- Communicate equipment repair status to Rental Department Manager and customers.
- Inspect ingoing and outgoing units.
- “On site” attendance must fall within the company standards as outlined in the handbook.
- Any other tasks required as determined by management

Must be 18 years old or older
Work Requirements
- Physical activity includes: Climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, reaching, standing, walking, pushing, pulling, lifting, keyboarding, grasping, talking, hearing, and repetitive motion.
- Physical requirements: Must be able to exert up to 100 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 50 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 20 pounds of force constantly to move objects. Must be able to lift at least 50 pounds from ground to waist level.
- Visual acuity requirements: Rental department team members are required to have visual acuity operate machinery, such as drill press, chain sharpeners, or power saws, where the seeing job is at or within arm’s reach; as well as perform mechanical or skilled trades tasks of a non-repetitive nature such as technicians, service people, mechanics, etc.
- Equipment/Programs Occasionally Rarely Frequently: Must be able to operate various equipment including must not limited to: Computer work-station, software programs, box crusher, key maker machine, pressure washer, chain sharpener, and lift.

- Working conditions
- Rental department team members are subject to environmental conditions. Activities occur inside and outside. They are subject to noise. There is sufficient noise the cause the worker to shout in order to be heard above ambient noise level. They are subject to vibration including exposure to oscillating movements of the extremities or whole body. They are subject to hazards including a variety of physical conditions, such as proximity to moving mechanical parts, moving vehicles, electrical current, exposure to high heat or exposure to chemicals.
Salary : $10 - $12
