Description
The Diesel Fuel Injection Technician - Trainee focuses on testing, disassembly, rebuilds, and replacing parts as necessary.
Responsibilities:
- Repair of fuel injection pumps and fuel injectors (training provided)
- Clean and test HPCR Diesel Fuel Injectors on a Test Bench
- Test & rebuild all conventional mechanical injectors
- Disassemble and clean fuel injection pumps being rebuilt
- Testing of Electronic Common Rail Injectors
- Testing of Electronic Unit Injectors (EUI)
- Operate and perform maintenance on injector test stands
- Calibrations to manufacturer specification
- Maintenance of test equipment as directed
- Follow directions and standard safety procedures
- Maintain a clean work environment
- Other duties as assigned by supervisor
Requirements
Requirements and Qualifications:
- Mechanical aptitude
- Work with hand tools. All tools are company provided.
- Works with Micrometer and Caliper (We will train)
- Manual dexterity up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to stand at workstation throughout shift
- Must have High School Diploma or GED
- Must successfully complete pre-employment background and drug screening
- Fosters good coworker citizenship in the workplace
- Ability to work as an individual contributor while assisting co-workers as customer needs fluctuate
- Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
