This position is a member of the Member Firm Experience Operations team and works alongside the Regional
Member Firm Development Team (MFDT), which develops and manages relationships with Member Firms. The
Regional MFDT serves as the point of contact for Member Firms, and the Service Consultant supports the
Regional MFDT to ensure issues are tracked and resolved. The Service Consultant has strong organizational,
execution, and relationship skills to help manage interactions between the Regional MFDT, M Core Services,
Operations and Wealth Solutions teams to ensure Member Firms receive a superior service experience.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and strengthen relationships with assigned Member Firms to understand their needs and
support their business and clients - Serve as a conduit between the Regional MFDT and M Core Services, Operations and Wealth Solutions
teams to track, monitor, and ensure general and specific inquiries are resolved for a superior customer
experience - Support the Regional MFDT by ensuring responses to inquiries are timely, execution is delivered, and
commitments are kept - own the results - Resolve inquiries by connecting with other team members for efficient handling and escalate to Head of
Operations Strategy when necessary - Manage the transition process for Firms and individuals joining or leaving M Financial and/or MHS.
- Ensure a seamless onboarding experience for new member firm hires
- Advocate for Member Firms with a focus on improving their service experience while understanding and
supporting the demands on M Core Services, Operations and Wealth Solutions teams - Collaborate with other members of the MFDT and broader M teams to identify opportunities and areas
for service improvement across M Financial and M’s Carriers - Track Firms’ requests and communications in Salesforce and appropriate project management software
- Contribute to research of potential additional services and tools available to life insurance producers and supporting team members, and identify and recommend improvements to operational processes and systems
- Crosstrain to gain knowledge in subject areas (e.g., life, investments) to better support MFDT members
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
- Minimum three years of experience in project management, customer service or operations related role(s)
- Ability to build rapport and collaborative relationships with internal colleagues and advisors
- Strong organizational skills and ability to adjust to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Team player with a positive attitude, focusing on opportunities and solutions when faced with challenges
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, prompt with responses and follow-up
- Comfortable in a fast-paced, high-demand, dynamic environment
- Experience with Microsoft Office Suite, a CRM (preferably Salesforce), and project/issue tracking software
Job Conditions & Environment:
- Normal office environment/desk assignment
- Extensive use of PC’s, computer terminal, display, keyboard, and mouse
- Extensive hands-on work with documents, spreadsheets, and other written documents
- Light travel (10%)
Compensation & Benefits:
Salary will be commensurate with relevant experience, knowledge, and skills.
