Fine Jewelry Sales Specialist
M. Flynn Jewelry is seeking an experienced Fine Jewelry Sales Specialist who is obsessed with jewelry and fashion, has great attention to detail, a strong customer focus, and the ability to assist and consult clients in selecting and purchasing fine jewelry, engagement rings, wedding bands, and loose diamonds/gemstones. This position will also work with clients on custom design projects. We love jewelry, we have a fun, unique workplace, and we are looking to add the right person to our team!

M. Flynn Jewelry has been changing the jewelry landscape in Boston since it opened 15 years ago. M. Flynn Jewelry designs jewelry, including engagement rings and wedding bands, in-house and also carries jewelry from incredible makers like Anita Ko, Brent Neale, Kwiat, Melissa Kaye and Marie Lichtenberg. With a focus on the country's most wanted designers and M. Flynn's own custom jewelry program, the store serves the modern jewelry customer who mixes high and low pieces and seeks jewelry that fits their personality and lifestyle.
- Work closely with customers across all channels to make purchasing decisions on fine jewelry, engagement ring, wedding bands and loose diamonds/gemstone purchases.
- Collaborate with clients on custom design projects, evaluate best design options, and work closely with M. Flynn's production team to create custom jewelry pieces. Follow the project from start to finish to ensure that the customer is completely satisfied.
- Create a positive and rewarding client experience that is warm and hospitable in all customer interactions, maintaining the highest degree of courtesy and professionalism.
- Support the rest of the sales team to reach sales goals by managing customer inquiries, and identifying opportunities.
- Generate sales reports to identify trends in bridal, custom and loose stone sales.
- Capture client data and all customer inquiries consistently and accurately in support of building and developing lasting relationships.
- Develop strong product knowledge of the entire line of M. Flynn's products and designer products.
- Resolve client issues independently and proactively while assisting with customer service.
- Support and assist with in-store event planning and outreach to customers.
- Prior direct experience in a similar role working with fine jewelry and selling engagement rings/wedding bands is required.
- Possesses a demonstrated strong knowledge of fine jewelry materials, gemstones, and diamonds. GIA coursework is a plus.
- Possesses a proven strong and successful sales record/skills.
- Likes to work in a fast-paced collaborative team environment with a company-first mentality.
- Demonstrates a strong styling eye and personal taste level.
- Reflects professional and effective interpersonal and communication skills.
- Functions as a solution-oriented self-starter.
- Possesses the flexibility and willingness to work on weekends in a retail environment.
This full-time, in-store position is located in our downtown Boston location at 40 Waltham Street.
