Since 1938, MH Eby has been a trusted leader in designing and manufacturing high-quality aluminum trailers and truck bodies for livestock, equipment, and bulk commodity transportation. As we expand our network of service shops, we seek a National Service Manager to oversee the servicing of transportation equipment. This role will lead a team of local service managers, driving process improvements, managing warranty repairs, and integrating computer systems while focusing on safety, productivity, and operational efficiency. Our Ideal National Service Manager:
- Proven Leadership: 3-5 years of leadership experience, ideally in a multi-location service environment.
- Mechanical Expertise: 5 years of Service Advisor/Manager experience; hands-on experience in vehicle service work, warranty repairs, process engineering, and computer system integration.
- Education & Experience: A degree in business, engineering, manufacturing, or a related field is preferred but not required. Strong technical and mechanical aptitude with a background in the service/mechanic industry is essential.
- Problem-solving skills: Quickly identify issues, develop solutions, and implement improvements.
- Detailed & Organized: Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and ensure all processes run smoothly.
- Safety-focused: Commitment to maintaining high safety standards and best practices in all aspects of work.
- Computer Savvy: Experience with ERP or CRM systems (preferred) and proficiency in Microsoft Office. Ability to leverage technology for efficient operations.
