Essential Duties And Responsibilities

• Maintain a positive attitude and work effectively within a team environment.
• Adhere to all company safety standards and procedures.
• Serve as the first point of contact for parts inquiries and counter sales.
• Demonstrate strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Exhibit active listening and problem-solving abilities in response to customer inquiries.
• Process UPS shipment requests and create bills of lading for freight shipments.
• Use computer systems for data entry, internet access, and order processing.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings as needed.
• Complete sales transactions and process payments accurately.
• Assist customers at the parts counter by selling parts and fulfilling orders (retrieving parts from inventory).
• Take and process orders for fabricated parts, such as toolboxes.
• Communicate customer order requests to the engineering team.
• Assist in the shipping and receiving of freight orders.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Perform tasks as directed by the supervisor.
• Prioritize tasks effectively and manage multiple responsibilities simultaneously.
• Be proactive, take initiative, and be accountable for actions and outcomes.
• Operate a forklift safely and efficiently.
• Use hand tools and various equipment to assist customers with their orders.
