Essential Duties And Responsibilities
- Effectively comply with all company safety standards;
- Serve as the first point of contact for walk-in customers for Parts and Service.
- Handle Parts & Service phone inquiries efficiently.
- Manage the full parts sales process, from initiation to completion, including processing transactions and payments.
- Assist service with parts pricing for service repair quotes.
- Process UPS shipment requests and create bills of lading for freight shipments.
- Assist in daily service department activities as needed.
- Oversee inter-company parts transfers for your location.
- Assist with the creation of sales orders and jobs pertaining to service.
- Assist with locating parts & parts pricing for service repair estimates and service jobs.
- Assist the service shop manager in scheduling external services, sales preparations, and body mounts to ensure timely completion.
- Maintain organization and cleanliness of the parts room, storage areas, and outside lot.
- Perform regular cycle counts of parts inventory.
- Assist with loading and unloading freight shipments as required.
- Receive purchased and transferred parts, verify packing slips, record into Epicor system, label, and organize parts in designated storage areas.
- Complete other duties assigned by management.
