Job Summary
Provides general administrative support for division construction department. Performs routine assigned tasks through the use of basic office skills in conjunction with direction from supervisor.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Provides general administrative support for construction department including routine processing of correspondence from rough or revised draft, data entry, preparation of miscellaneous reports, filing and copying. May compile and verify information for reports.
- Responsible for creating start packages.
- Assembles New Home Orientation packages for Construction Managers.
- Provides BuildPro support add data entry.
- Interacts with Trade Partners.
- Answers incoming Customer Care telephone lines: asks probing questions to gather facts; troubleshoots to resolve customer issues.
- Schedules service appointments with Technicians & customers; provides 1st response scheduling when possible.
- Tracks and monitors appointments as required.
- Prepares and processes warranty work orders and inspection requests.
- Provides all customers - homebuyers, company colleagues, and all outside business associates - with consistent and exceptional service.
- Uploads Documents to various Systems.
- Performs additional assignments as requested by supervisor.
Minimum Education Experience
High school graduate with basic academic and practical skills gained through school curriculum combined with at least 3 years of related work experience and/or training; general knowledge of administrative and office functions. Should possess a thorough knowledge of Microsoft Office suite.
Skills and Abilities
- General office and administrative skills to assist in the processing of departmental workflow.
- Customer-service oriented with professional and courteous attitude.
- Good verbal and written communication skills for interaction with a variety of people inside and outside of organization; ability to follow oral and written instructions.
- Good working knowledge of word processing and spreadsheet software packages.
