Job Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Direct Support Professional to join our team. Responsibilities
- Assist clients with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, meal preparation, and medication management.
- Implement individualized care plans tailored to the specific needs of each client.
- Provide direct support in various settings, including home community care for developmentally disabled clients.
- Monitor and document vital signs as necessary, ensuring accurate records are maintained.
- Engage clients in social and recreational activities to promote mental and emotional well-being.
- Perform heavy lifting as needed to assist clients with mobility or transfers.
- Maintain a safe and clean environment for clients, adhering to health and safety protocols.
- Communicate effectively with clients, families, and other healthcare professionals to ensure continuity of care.
Qualifications
- At least six months experience in caring for clients with Developmental Disabilites.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and assist clients with physical mobility.
- Knowledge of care plans and the ability to follow them accurately.
- Strong interpersonal skills with a compassionate approach to client care.
- Familiarity with monitoring vital signs is a plus.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings or weekends as needed.
- Must be willing to train and become a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT)

Pay: $23.00 - $29.00 per hour
