MJ Engineering, Architecture, Landscape Architecture, and Land Surveying, P.C. has an immediate opening for an AutoCAD Technician in our Survey Department located in Clifton Park, NY. Please view our website for additional information about our company: www.mjteam.com.
The AutoCAD Technician Responsibilities will include:
Boundary and topographic mapping preparation
- Reading, understanding, and plotting boundary maps and descriptions
- Perform record research for boundary and utility information
Qualifications:
Minimum 2-4 years of relevant experience in Land Surveying and civil/site work, including research, computations, field experience in boundary and topographic surveys; total stations and data collection
- Associate’s degree Required
- Proficient in the use of AutoCAD Civil 3D, and/or MicroStation.
- Experience with surveying and mapping for utilities, municipal and/or state highways, bridge, residential, and commercial projects.
- Ability to work within multiple design teams and meet demanding schedules.
Must be a U.S. Citizen or be eligible to work without an employer sponsorship.
Pay is based on applicant’s ability/experience and will be rated accordingly.
