Responsibilities
M&J has a need for ArcGIS field engineers. Using a hand-held tablet, the ArcGIS engineer will inventory assets along major highways in New York City and Long Island. The purpose of the survey is to document the as-built conditions of Intelligent Transportation System components including CCTV, Variable Message Signs, Various Detectors, cabinets, poles, meter cabinets, and pull-boxes. Qualifications
- The successful candidate should have a minimum of a 2 Year associate degree in GIS, Math, Software, or Engineering.
- Previous experience conducting field surveys is desirable.
- Working knowledge of ArcGIS Online is a must.
