We are seeking Construction Inspectors for exciting and growth opportunities within our Construction Management Division. Immediate positions are open for several projects within Miami/Everglades.
Responsibilities
The Construction Inspector, Level II, will perform inspections of road/highway improvement projects. Determines the acceptability of the day-to-day work performed by the contractor. The CI-II will review and recommend accepting or rejecting daily reports submitted by the contractor, performs inspection of the contractor’s quality control procedures and material testing and verifies that procedures are in conformance with the approved Quality Control Plan and established procedures. The CI-II must be able to reviews material testing procedures and results for conformance to the contract and measures quantities of materials placed. The CI-II may be required to perform sampling and/or in-place testing of asphalt concrete pavement. The project where the inspector will be providing inspection services, on a project that includes pavement preservation (micro surfacing) of roads and parking areas, permanent pavement markings, crack cleaning and sealing, asphalt concrete pavement patching and other miscellaneous work.

Qualifications
- FDOT, USDOT, and local agency road and/or bridge structure construction project experience preferred
- High School Diploma or equivalent. Higher Education degree preferred.
- FDOT Construction Inspector Level II certification
- Valid Driver’s License and clear driving record
- US Citizenship Required
- Location: Miami/Everglades
